摘要
Rapidly quenched foils of alloys in the Ti-Zr-Ni-Ge, Ti-Ni-Cu-Al and Ti-Zr-Fe systems were prepared in an arc furnace using the hammer-and-anvil technique, for which the cooling rate during solidification is about 10(6) K/s. The resulting glass forming composition regions in these alloy systems are (at%): 35.0 to 55.5 Ti, 18.4 to 29.1 Zr, 0 to 46.6 Ni and 0 to 27.1 Ge in the Ti-Zr-Ni-Ge system; 56.4 to 71.5 Ti, 11.9 to 23.9 Ni, 0 to 16.5 Cu and 0 to 20.7 Al in the Ti-Ni-Cu-Al system and 51.2 to 55.9 Ti, 22.8 to 27.6 Zr and 19.8 to 21.9 Fe in the Ti-Zr-Fe system. The crystallization behavior and kinetic parameters for Ti50.4Zr26.5Ni23.1, Ti59.2Ni12.1Cu11.2Al17.5 and Ti52.6Zr27.6Fe19.8 metallic glasses have been investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). X-ray diffractometry and transmission electron microscopy.
