摘要
This paper presents an experimental expert system for process planning of sheet-metal parts. A basic framework for representing the necessary expert knowledge and part geometry information is outlined. The system, which is developed in Turbo Prolog and implemented for the planning of simple bent and punched parts, is described. Directions for further research are also examined.
