摘要
The main objective of this article is to present the results for Document Management at the University of Cienfuegos. Despite the absence of an Institutional Archive System (UPS) preliminary actions for future implementation were undertaken. The document includes guidelines for the creation of a university archive and the work of the Evaluation Committee Documentary, aspects not physically evidenced within the institution on file. As part of the diagnosis, the Provincial Historic Archive applied a preliminary survey yielded information on activities to develop and through direct observation in the offices and records managers applied to techniques, different problems were identified. Identification and assessment: two stages of the archival treatment worked. The objectives were met, although the approval and implementation of a project to ensure the integrity of the university documentary heritage indispensable.
