ADVANCED VISUALIZATION AND INTERPRETATION TECHNIQUES FOR THE EVALUATION OF ULTRASONIC DATA - THE NDT WORKBENCH

摘要
With increasingly sophisticated data acquisition systems there is still an enormous potential for advanced NDT processing and visualisation frameworks. This paper discusses the most recent version of the NDT Workbench, a workstation-based platform for the evaluation and visualisation of NDT data. A well-defined software structure is proposed consisting of a number of separate elements, each performing a separate analysis task. Both in-house and commercial software are integrated into a user-friendly framework which utilises an X-Windows system graphical interface.
