摘要：
The article analyzes correlations among emotional intelligence, emotional characteristics and intellectual abilities. The author considers contribution of emotions and intellect to functioning of emotional intelligence; determines location of emotional intelligence in conceptual field of intellect; demonstrates some results of empirical research on correlations among emotional intelligence and personal emotional characteristics (in particular, empathy, sensitivity, stress resistance, personal anxiety, aggressiveness and conflictness), and other kinds of intellect (crystalline and verbal).
