摘要
This article intends to express some non-technical features of the technological design, specially focused on the design activity understood as the instance in which something works for the very first time. For that purpose the idea of applied science, as a model to understand technology, is compared with design features which appears as unacceptable for the model; advancing in the weak knowledge concept to better describe the designers instrumentalization of knowledge. This is an introductory article, as a trigger for further discussions and debates involving epistemologists and many engineering experiences.
