PROXIMITY EFFECT IN SUPERCONDUCTING BILAYERS AND MULTILAYERS

摘要
Measurements of the superconducting transition temperature Tc of bilayers and multilayers of Mo69Si31/Mo47Si53 are presented. For the multilayers the results can be described in terms of the de GennesWerthamer theory for the proximity effect, without adjustable parameters. For the bilayers it is shown that a depression of Tc occurs which can be described by the effects of weak localization in the same way as is already known for single thin films. © 1990 The American Physical Society.
