摘要
The resonantly excited Ar 2p5ns, md and Kr 3d9np States have been studied experimentally by recording the electron spectra over a wide kinetic energy region and at several resonance energies. Experimental intensity distributions between different line groups have been compared with the results of multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock calculations. Satisfactory agreement has been found between experimental and theoretical branching ratios. The relative production efficiencies of multiply-ionized atoms have been extracted from the calculated transition rates and compared with recent experimental photoion yield results.
