摘要
This article is intended to offer a historical and cultural perspective of analysis focused on Timor-Leste, a Portugal's ex-colony in South Asia. Today an independent country it is being reconstructed in terms of its political, economic and cultural identities. This paper is due to tackle with the presence of many multilateral agents involved at the educational restructuring of the country. The article pursue to describe the background of the new policies, to put them in contrast with the historical development of that society such as the foreign domination, the late independence and the way those factors have influenced the Timorese life
