ANGLE-DEPENDENT POSTCOLLISION INTERACTION IN INNER-SHELL PHOTOIONIZATION OF XENON

摘要
The influence of angle-dependent post-collision interaction on the lineshape of the N5-O23O23 S-1(0) Auger transition xenon has been measured for the angles theta12 = 55-degrees and theta12 = 165-degrees between the Auger electron and its coincident photoelectron. Good agreement is found with the theoretical predictions which confirms the present angle-dependent PCI model in this angular range, but raised the question of how to derive correctly the non-coincident PCI formulation.
