Information and Communication Technologies as an instrument to support innovative university teaching

摘要：
From a socio-cultural constructivist view of the teaching-learning process in higher education, this paper proposes some uses of ICT that can support innovation in university teaching. In particular, the uses discussed and exemplified are those of ICT as an instrument which supplements the teacher's educational aid, as a tool supporting collaborative learning, as an aid for the acquisition of autonomous and self-learning skills and as scaffolding for complex problem-solving activities framed within authentic tasks.
