摘要：

There is nothing much to discuss about Russian subsoil use nowadays except the significant and unjustified level of oil and gas production. The main problem of the Russian subsoil use is in large volume of oil and gas production which closed the ways to develop and implement innovations in the country. Another big problem is that available today innovations are not much in demand by Russian oil and gas companies. The relevant issues are discussed in this article based, in particular, on the author's personal experience.
