摘要
Development is reported of a solid-state pulsed laser with the active element made of GSGG: Cr3+, Nd3+ which is optically pumped by laser diode arrays (LDA). Energy characteristics of the arrays have been investigated under pumping by current pulses up to 100-mu-s in duration. The energy emitted from the array made of 180 laser diodes amounted to 2 mJ at the duration of approximately-80-mu-s. The output energy of a solid-state laser pumped by LDA at the radiation wavelength of 805 nm was as high as 0.1 mJ.
