摘要
This study examined the individual, relative, and interactive influences of parental divorce and interparental conflict on adolescent functioning across 4 years. Participants were 227 young adolescents, their mothers, and their social studies teachers. Parental divorce, current interparental conflict, and the interaction of the two variables predicted multiple areas of functioning in multiple years. Although divorce is associated with adolescent functioning, the current level of interparental conflict cannot be ignored.
