The classification of Jose de la Luz y Caballero's sciences

In this article the author offers the readers a partial result of his historic investigation on her life and works of the master and philosopher Cuban of the first half of the century XIX Jose de la Luz y Caballero. The author examines the antecedent immediate theorists of the classification of the sciences of the notable educator, his structure and contents like component of his scientific methodology. By virtue of what's been said, the general objective that guides the presented study is intented to reveal the epistemological basics of classification lucista of sciences, and to appraise his contribution to the scientific progress during the period of national formation in Cuba.
