摘要
Generally speaking, one of the main goals of universities is to strengthen the teaching and learning processes, as well as the health and well-being processes, guaranteeing the integral formation to the professional future. In this case, it is necessary to establish the relationship between burnout and academic performance with the satisfaction related to the studies. This research was carried out with 202 university students of the evening schedule in a private university of Barranquilla, to whom was applied the MBI-SS (Schaufeli, et al. 2002). The analysis of results reflects negative correlations between exhaustion, cynicism, self-efficacy and academic performance with the satisfaction related to the studies, while the vigour, dedication and absorption were positively correlated with the satisfaction related to the studies. On the other hand, the good academia performance was positively associated with the dimension of engagement, while it was negatively associated with cynicism. In particular way, any of the variables were associated with exhaustion, in spite of demonstrating cynicism and low self-efficacy.
