From Canada to the world: the relationships between Canadians and the world fascist universe between the two world wars

The main object of this paper is to discuss the relationships established by the various Canadian fascist movements during the 1930's among themselves and with the international fascist world, mainly British and American groups, as well as the Nazi Germany and the Fascist Italy. Through the analysis of some of these movements' newspapers, I will try to understand how these movements saw themselves in relation with the rest of the world. The lack of national definition in Canada in that time and its effects in the development of fascism in the country will be specially stressed.
