摘要
The results of the CO air pollution spectroscopic study in Moskow obtained using two different methods are presented. The first method consists in the total CO column content measurements by means of IR solar radiation absorption spectroscopy and determination of the excess AU of total column in the city over its regional background. The second method is based on measurements of CO concentration at ground level using diod laser spectrometer with pathlength of 80 m. The CO air pollution study was accompanied by simultaneous measurements of the mixing layer height H(m) performed with one-component sodar. The results of direct DELTAU measurements agree well with the values recalculated from the measured ground-level concentrations and the mixing layer height. The analysis of diurnal variations shows that the influence of the temperature stratification of the atmospheric boundary layer on the CO concentration level in the city exceeds that of the CO emission rates.
