NEW PEAK IN INTERNAL-FRICTION AFTER DEFORMATION OF IRRADIATED AL-ALLOYS

摘要
Internal friction measurements are performed in dilute Al alloys deformed at 78 K after electron and fast neutron irradiations. In addition to the Bordoni peak and the relaxation peaks due to defect‐solute complexes, a new peak at 43 K appears. The occurrence of the peak is discussed and may be due to migration of kinks trapped at intersitials. Copyright © 1990 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA
