摘要
The text aims to reflect on the process of turistification of areas recognized with outstanding values by its natural characteristics associated with the development of tropical world importance of karstic landscapes and cultural values associated with the process of occupation of these territories by the local communities. For this reflection were chosen two places National Park da Serra da Bodoquena, in Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil and the Vinales National Park in the province of Pinar del Rio, Cuba, despite the differences in socio-economic and political between both countries, where it is possible to find similarities in the process of management and use of these areas, and the role that is playing the tourism in these processes.
