摘要
The artificial neural networks (ANN) are more frequently involved in various fields, chemical engineering included - where they proved their usefulness in a wide range of process modelling and management applications. The paper presents several personal considerations of the author about the structural and functional analogies between the ANN and the central nervous system. Both their limitations and extensions posibilities, for raising the ANN performances, are presented.
