Cryosurgery is an excellent procedure in the treatment of malignancies when properly selected patients, appropriate tumors, adequate instrumentation, and proper technique are combined.1 It is the treatment of choice for some skin cancers, and an alternate for many others in comparison with Mohs chemosurgery, conventional surgery, electrosurgery, and radiotherapy. © 1990.
