摘要
The International Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology is actively seeking to expand understandings about the research practices and projects from countries lesser known among English-speaking scholars. Within this introduction, the authors explore the possible barriers encountered by non-English-speaking sport psychology scholars residing in countries where submissions are sparse to Anglophone journals. Afterward, the authors introduce five accepted publications from Jordan, Botswana, Tanzania, South Africa, and Brazil. These submissions are the journal's inaugural special section devoted to research and scholars from "emerging countries".
