摘要
Comparative Politics is a subfield of political science that is defined by the application of the comparative method in order to achieve predictive accuracy and obtain explanatory adequacy. It is argued that Comparative Politics is defined mainly by its nomothetic approach and the application of the comparative method. These factors must be more strongly emphasized in contrast to other ways of comparing in order to secure the identity of Comparative Politics and to guarantee scientific progress.
