The system of public services is an object of monitoring in the Russian Federation

Monitoring of quality and accessibility of public and municipal services is a very important stage in the development of the whole system of public services in the Russian Federation. The article considers current methods of the organization of monitoring public services as an interaction of the consumer and public administration bodies in Russia and abroad. It also shows some theoretical approaches to the problem of the public services quality. The article pays attention to the peculiarities of presenting results of the analysis of the Russian system of public services on the example of the monitoring, held by the experts of the Institute of Public and Municipal Administration in 2010. A set of criteria for a periodical choice of public services in the future monitoring researches has been formulated. New directions of public service improvement are offered.
