摘要：
This paper proposes an approach for implementing an intelligent user interface based on the Markov chains theory. The main idea is to store the interactions of each user in a database, then using the collected statistical data calculate a state transition probability matrix to predict the next most probable user actions, which are shown as a tool buttons in the interface. A prototype was developed and the first results are quite promising.
