摘要：
The epoxidation of 17 beta-acetoxyandrost-4-ene and 3 beta-acetoxyandrost-5-ene-17-one by the biphasic system potassium permanganate-copper sulfate affords the beta-epoxides whilst 17 beta-acetoxy-9 beta,10 alpha-androst-4-ene and 3 beta,17 beta-diacetoxy-B-norandrost-5-ene give the alpha-epoxides, although this stereospecificity is affected by allylic substituents.
