摘要：
The pi-calculus provides a foundation for the study of computational systems with evolving communication structure. A system is viewed as a collection of agents which may share named communication links. Agents interact by passing to one another along shared links the names of other links. Semantics for a pair of parallel object-oriented programming languages are presented by translation into the pi-calculus. The semantics are compared briefly with existing semantics of related languages.
