摘要：
The application of IMAC method for the separation of proteins is reviewed. The principle of the method is briefly discussed and the methods of sorbents synthesis are given. In addition the paper deals with the role of various metal ions in IMAC, with the role of eluent composition and with some practical aspects of the separation of proteins.
