摘要
The science of ergonomics is concerned with the design of human work. An ergonomic injury is one which results from the nature of the person's working task-most commonly when the demands of that task exceed the person's capacities. This article is concerned with the causation and socio-economic impact of two common types of ergonomic injuries: back injury and the range of musculo-skeletal problems affecting the neck, shoulder and upper limb which are known as repetitive strain injuries (RSI).
