Results are presented from studies of the corrosion resistance of stainless steels 06KhN28MDT, 08Kh21N6M2T, 08Kh22N5T and Kh18N10T in media simulating the composition of the liquid phase of the slurry formed during nitric-acid decomposition of apatite. The theoretical possibility of using steel 08Kh21N6M2T, which is economically alloyed with nickel, instead of the high-alloy steel 06KhN28MDT as the reactor material is established.
