The process of creation is considered and modern indicators of activity of the largest vertically-integrated oil companies of Russia such as Rosneft, LUKOIL, Surgutneftegas, TNK-BP, Gazpromneft, Tatneft, Russneft and Bashneft are analyzed in given article.
