We present a graphic method for the analysis of the main parameters in a vibration isolation system (VIS) using Okano's unidimensional model for n stacks. The VIS analized consists of several metallic plates, one over the other with a viton rubber between them, with rigidity and damping constants known. The graphic method allows to determine the importance of the parameters on the efficiency of the VIS. We can apply the graphic method to several necessities with similar geometry. With this analysis it is possible to predict the VIS behavior as a function of the main parameters like mass (M), rigidity constant (K), damping constant (C), frequency (f), external noise (Y0) and number of stacks (n). We calculated the VIS response in the ranges 0 < K less-than-or-equal-to 100,000 N/m, 1 less-than-or-equal-to C less-than-or-equal-to 100 Ns/m, and 0 < f less-than-or-equal-to 1,000 Hz. We found a f = (K/M)0.5/2-pi behavior in the principal resonance peaks when C = 1 N s/m, with a light variation for bigger values.
