摘要
The essay presents the ideas of Stanley Cavell, according to which the sickness of skepticism can only be satisfactorily understood from a practical posture arisen from a dialogue between philosophy, the arts and Romantic literature, and between psychology and philosophy. The opening to an 'in between' constitutes the Romantic answer to Kant's philosophy, which conceived man as a being who is claimed by two worlds. The Romantics propose a third world in which one can be and not be, a world with which one can recognize oneself or long for oneself. This characteristic engenders a feeling that Cavell calls "the sinister condition of the ordinary". 'Recognition' is the concept that allows the author to move from the theoretical paradigm to the practical paradigm.
