A patient with myopia and astigmatism in the ideal range for correction by radial keratotomy had surgery on both eyes. Postoperatively, she developed bilateral high hyperopia, with a +9.00 diopter refractive error (OD) and a spherical equivalent of +8.75 diopters (OS).
