摘要
This study aimed to assess the scope of the participation of children with reading difficulties in an intervention program in order to improve their reading skills, in the expectations and reading habits of their parents. A descriptive research, based on the techniques of content analysis and focus groups was conducted with the parents of children who presented reading disabilities and on the other hand, parents of children with regular reading development. After the implementation of the program, parents of children with difficulties did not modify their expectations or reading habits, although children did. In conclusion, in spite of a reading intervention program can improve children academic ability, its impact in relation to the family group is limited.
