摘要
The properly renormalized Z-degrees rest mass is shown to be gauge invariant in the rigorous, complete on-shell renormalization scheme. Thus, the mass measured at LEP/SLC is indeed a physical observable and can be used as a basic parameter of the SU2L X U1 theory, as indeed it has so been.
