摘要
The role of Kazakhstan and other countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the global scientific landscape in 1996-2006 is analyzed on the basis of statistical data obtained from the Scopus database. The analysis of bibliometric indicators, publication activity, and citation per country and per field of study is presented in absolute terms and per population of a given country.
