DELTA FOR THE 1990S

The highly successful Delta program is briefly reviewed, with a number of aspects highlighted: the Delta II 6925 flight record is summarized, with accuracy results for Navstar flights; 7925 flights are discussed, and first-stage performance reconstruction shown; GTO activity and accuracy are shown; stage safing/depletion burn procedures are discussed; progress through 1992, including that at VAFB, is also discussed. Delta accommodation for small satellites is also treated, with both secondaries and multiples considered. Finally, some thoughts for the future of ELVs are presented.
