摘要
The individual as something produced by modernity and sociological imagination gains importance in a context of decline for those social supports that secured its status as a subject "master of itself". In this situation, it is necessary to go into the becoming of the individual as a modern and western product in depth, as well as dealing with analytical strategies that understand the body as the "place of cut", the limits of the individual's soveregnity. The main books reviewed in this text belong to Martuccelli (2007), Dubet (2006) and Foucault (2008).
