摘要
Analytical conditions of the onset of chaos in the weakly nonlinear Duffing equation with a quasiperiodic excitation are obtained in the framework of Melnikov's method. The comparison with the results of a numerical simulation is made. Characteristic features of oscillator dynamics associated with the arising of chaotic and multistable states are considered.
