摘要：
For more than forty years, Russia has remained a major European energy producer, the primary natural gas exporter to Europe. The author describes the latest tendencies in the European gas market, analyzes the role of the liquefied natural gas technology and shale gas. He considers relevant problems and issues, which arise in the course of the European gas market's formation.
