The hope of the totally other Theology and Religion in Critical Theory from Max Horkheimer and Tillich's Theology and Philosophy of Religion

This article discusses basic aspects, after an analysis of Social Philosophy and Max Horkheimer criticism, especially in dealing with religion. In this article, we present some results of an investigation still in continuity, investigating the role of religion in reflection Theory Max Horkheimer Critical and at the same time as it seeks to understand human expression beyond the critical pre-Enlightenment romantic. The work will focus on the writings of Max Horkheimer himself, Philosophy of Paul Tillich Religion, studies on critical philosophy Olgaria Matos and research on Marxism, the mystical Jewish expressions and the German Romantic by Michael Lowy.
