摘要：
The Paraguayan invasion in the Brazilian province of Rio Grande do Sul was planned in detail. Paraguayan President Francisco Solano Lopez personally coordinated the actions that the troop held. The transposition of rivers and streams has been an important input in the planning. Brazilian and Paraguayan rivers were the key operations.
