UNSTATIONARY MOVEMENT OF AN ELECTRIC MOTOR-DRIVEN MACHINE

A machine with one degree of liberty in the case of position-dependent masses and position-and velocity-dependent forces is treated on purpose to determine the transient movement, arising in the proximity of a steady state motion. The torque of the electric motor is given by its dynamic characteristic. The movement is separated in approximated one and a variation to it. A simplified differential equation is proposed and a numerical example is treated.
