POSSIBILITIES OF SPATIAL AND TEMPORAL-SPATIAL INTERPOLATION OF CHOSEN ENVIRONMENTAL PARAMETERS

摘要
Exact estimation of dispersion of environmental parameters (e.g. concentrations of heavy metals in soil, noise levels, groundwater levels, dust concentrations in atmosphere, etc.) in space is a basis for decision making in the area under study. In modelling of environmental parameters. it is recommended to use geostatistics as one of the most suitable known methods to reveal spatial relationships between measured values. Two case studies illustrate possibilities and advantages of geostatistics used in the area under consideration.
