AFTERWORD: DINAH MULOCK CRAIK FOR THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY

Although more than 90 books, articles and dissertations in the past 30 years have discussed Dinah Mulock Craik, usually while analysing a topic common to the work of several mid-Victorian writers, only four of Craik's books have been treated more than once or twice. In the last few years, however, almost all of her writing has become easily available, which, combined with additional documents and artifacts, should lead to new and richer considerations of Craik and her work.
