摘要：
The main directions of GPS navigation on the field texting phase of mineral deposits in connection with the geological - technological mapping are considered. An analysis principles and methods of determining the coordinates of points (dots) sampling with GPS: used equipment, software, types of maps, coordinate systems, instructional techniques. Outlined the prospects for further research in this scientific field.
