摘要：
The conversion of lignocellulose to ethanol can be accomplished by enzymatic hydrolysis. Some of the topics discussed include pretreatment of the biomass raw material using steam explosion; organosolvent pretreatment; enzyme production; simultaneous saccharification and fermentation and Xylose fermentation systems. The economics of the ethanol production process is also discussed.
