摘要：
The index of spatial concentration is defined as the maximum cumulative proportion of trips that are directly linked to a set of selected nodes. The curve connecting the indexes of incremental nodes is approximated by the Gompertz function. Estimated parameters of the function can be used to evaluate the spatial concentration of airline travel demand. The origin-destination data of airline traffic among 30 American cities in 1985 were examined in a case study.
